Rock Falls Tourism announces Winter Wonderland decorating contests for homes, businesses

Rock Falls Tourism is inviting residents and local businesses to take part in its Winter Wonderland House and Business Window Decorating Contests, according to a news release.Local businesses can register between Nov. 2 and 13 by emailing a completed registration form to [email protected], the release said. The business contest will award a People’s Choice Award voted on by the public, with voting running Nov. 20 to Dec. 20 and the winner announced Dec. 22. Residents are invited to create outdoor holiday displays, with awards for Best Theme, Best Use of Lights and Most Extravagant, according to the release. House registrations are due by Dec. 8 and require a registration form and a nighttime photo of the decorated home sent to [email protected].
